Many Legs, one method.
One leg should have 2-4 segments. Use Inverse Kinematics (IK) + a Control Bone.
(I don't see Pole Target needed here)
​All Legs follow the Body (Main bone)
All Leg Control Bones + Body Bone can follow a Root Bone.
Same method can be used in various ways.
(For example Hand prefers to use Pole Target bones)
